Nelly is passionate about advancing climate action and contributing to women’s empowerment. For TEDxMontrealWomen, she is responsible for the greening of the event, making sure participants have an enriching experience while having the lowest possible environmental footprint. She joined TEDxMontrealWomen in 2019 because she strongly believes in shedding a light on the climate issue and the work of women as leaders within it.

Nelly has an undergraduate degree in human environment and is currently doing a Master’s in environmental management and sustainable development. Professionally, she works at the United Nations Environment Programme on advancing the voice and place of women in the environmental dialogue.
