Farah Kashaf: Master Scavenger

Team

Farah is passionate about building communities around causes she cares about, which is one of the reasons she joined TEDxMontrealWomen: to be part of a diverse group of people advocating for issues of concern to women. As Master Scavenger at TEDxMontrealWomen, Farah is dedicated to creating meaningful partnerships with local, ethical, and sustainable organizations.

Farah has a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business and Marketing from Concordia University and a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia. Her academic research focused on gender-based inequities and discrimination, and women in conflict situations. She lives and works in Montreal, at the UN Environment Programme, and enjoys spending her free time experiencing the many cultural and community activities the city has to offer!
