Emily is passionate about the intersection of biodiversity conservation and sustainable use for improved livelihoods. She lives and works in Montreal at the non-profit, the Quebec-Labrador Foundation, working to engage communities to advance conservation and combat climate change in the rural areas of Eastern Canada. In 2017, she graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialization in Environment. For TEDxMontrealWomen’s upcoming event, Emily is dedicated to growing and securing partnerships to connect business to the community in the Montreal area.
