Dr. F. Clarissa Yang is a Board-certified, Harvard-trained dermatologist who specializes in medical dermatology, skin cancers, atypical moles and has expertise in laser and cosmetics. She takes care of challenging medical conditions using innovative procedural techniques.
Clarissa is currently the Harvey B. Ansell Professor and Chairman of Dermatology at Tufts University School of Medicine, the dermatologist-in-chief at Tufts Medical Center, the President of Pratt Dermatology Inc., and serves on the Board of Trustees at Tufts Medical Center and on the Scientific advisory board of Modernizing Medicine Inc. She was the Outpatient Medical Director for the Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, one of the major Harvard hospitals, for over a decade. Clarissa held leadership roles in education at Harvard Medical School and in the Harvard Dermatology Residency Program. She is also Past-President of the New England Dermatological Society. Clarissa has also been awarded Boston Magazine’s Top Doctor Award on more than one occasion and was featured on the cover of Boston magazine in 2019. She has published over 30 articles, has lectured nationally and internationally and has been featured on Mystery Diagnosis, NBC and print media such as the Boston Globe, Vice Magazine, and SELF.
